Silver Surfer Blasters - 1997

The second Silver Surfer line featured two more Silver Surfer figures and several new characters to the line. All the figures are very well done and are decently articulated. Each figure came with some sort of firing weapon.

Drax

Drax is another great choice for a figure in this line. His figure is bulkier than most figures made, which was true to his comic form. The figure is decently articulated, using ball joints in the arms like most other figures. The paint and detail are decent as well. His cape is also removable. The only thing that bothered me was the odd expression on his face. Still, it’s a very nice addition.

Figure ability: Cosmic skull blaster
Accessories: Staff, Light up projectile, Cape

Raze

There would actually be very few Skrull figures in the series, and this would add one more. This Skrull would be a bit bigger than the other handful of Skrulls that were released, but would be the best looking. He is very well articulated and very detailed and the face mask and cape are removable.

Figure ability: Cosmic shield blaster
Accessories: None

Silver Surfer

This Silver Surfer is not a whole lot different than any other version. He is painted up in the shiny chrome a lot like the Fantastic Four version bit this one features a lot more articulation and a better sculpt than the old one. That and he's to the 5 inch scale too. This is probably one of the best 5 inch figures that Silver Surfer had.

Figure ability: Cosmic star blaster
Accessories: Surf board, Discs, Launcher

Star Silver Surfer

This Silver surfer is a shiny dark blue in color. He looks pretty cool, but other than that is about the same as any other Silver Surfer figure in terms of detail and articulation.

Figure ability: Cosmic board blaster
Accessories: Surf board, Discs

Thanos

This Thanos is a much better version than the one that was released previously in the Fantastic Four line. He is very well articulated with ball joint arms and has a great sculpt with a fitting expression on his face. His head is not movable for some reason, but kind of looks like it should be. He comes with a large blaster that he can't carry for some reason. The one hand is pointing for some reason, which actually makes him look kind of cool. His gold shoulder pads are actually removable as well, but you've got to pull them over his head which isn't real easy. I would have liked to see him be a little taller, but it's still a great figure.

Figure ability: Cosmic infinity blaster
Accessories: Large gun, Light up projectile
