Ghost Rider Series 1 - 1996

The first Ghost Rider series would include 2 Ghost Riders as well as several other characters from the Ghost Rider comics. The figure assortment had a lot of characters would probably would not have gotten made except for in this series. Each figure included a small mini-comic.

Blackout

Blackout has an interesting figure. The sculpt is pretty good and so is the detail on the figure and the articulation. He has large hands that glow in the dark and so does his head. He also features a molded trench coat that is pretty cool. He's not a bad looking figure.

Figure ability: Glow in the dark action
Accessories: None

Blaze

The original Ghost Rider returns as his alter ego Blaze in this series. The figure itself is decently done with a good amount of detail. He comes with a molded trench coat which makes him look very good.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: Gun, Missle

Ghost Rider

The first Ghost Rider figure is as normal of a Ghost Rider figure as you can get. He is very well done, with a good amount of detail and good articulation, especially in the legs. He comes with a chain that goes around his body and waist that glows in the dark. His head also will glow in the dark. The flames surrounding his head look pretty good, as it is tough to sculpt a flaming skull.

Figure ability: Glow in the dark skull
Accessories: None

Ghost Rider II

This second Ghost Rider figure was similar to the first, except that it came with a snap on head that would transform Dan Ketch into Ghost Rider. To make this happen, the chest has to be large enough to put the head down into, so the chest of this figure looks odd. It is even bigger when the Ghost Rider head is on. The figure also comes with spiked armbands and leg bands that snap onto his arms and boots. He also came with a chain similar to the first Ghost Rider figure. The articulation in this figure is also pretty good.

Figure ability: Ghost Rider transforming action
Accessories: Belt and shoulder chain, Leg spikes x2, Arm spikes x2, Head

Skinner

Skinner would be one of the bigger figures released in the series. His arms are not as articulated as others due to his action feature.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: None

Vengeance

Vengeance is one of the larger figures in the Ghost Rider lineup. He has the same amount of detail and articulation that you would expect from a figure in this series. His legs are spread apart, which is kind of an odd pose and it makes him difficult to stand sometimes.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: None
