X-Men Onslaught - 1997

A great figure line, and another 6 inch one. The figures in this series are bigger than the normal ones, which is fine for the Onslaught and Apocalypse figures, since they were bigger in the comics. The Wolverine and Jean Grey were a bit too big for the rest of the normal figures though. I would have liked to have seen a Juggernaut in this series.

Apocalypse

This is one of the cooler Apocalypse figures, as it is very detailed, and very big. He comes with one of his servants, Ozymandias. He comes wrapped in bandages like he was when he was resurrected during the Onslaught event. The figure's arms are very articulated with ball joints.

Figure ability: Ozymandias
Accessories: Ozymandias figure

Franklin Richards

Franklin Richards is technically an accessory that came with Wolverine, but he is a character of his own. The figure is small, since he's just a child, but the figure is not very articulated at all.

Jean Grey

The only figure of Jean Grey that was exactly like she was in the comics, except that this one was too tall to look right with the other figures. The figure comes with the Cytorak Gem with the Juggernaut trapped inside. She and Wolverine both fit better in the 6 inch scale of Marvel Legends and X-Men Classics.

Figure ability: Psychic claw
Accessories: Juggernaut figure, Crystal halves x2, Psychic Claw

Onslaught

One of the best figures of the series and Onslaught's only figure in his first form. The figure featured snap on armor and claws so that he can be in either form he was in the comics. The sculpting on this figure is a perfect likeness of the character and he also features good articulation. Even though he's to a bigger scale, he fits in perfectly with the other figures in the X-Men line. This could be counted as a Professor X figure since that's who he really was.

Figure ability: Snap on armor
Accessories: Hands x2, Head

Ozymandias

Apocalypse's accessory is actually another figure by itself. Ozymandias was a servant to Apocalypse in the comics, which is why he comes with Apocalypse. The figure is very well done, but is a little small compared to other figures.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: None

Wolverine Unleashed

This is how Wolverine looked in the comics at the time. Interestingly, this is the only figure in this outfit that was made. He comes with a Franklin Richards figure as well, which is to scale with the other figures. Sadly, this figure is way too tall to fit in right with the other figures. His bone claws are retractable though.

Figure ability: Franklin Richards
Accessories: Franklin Richards figure
