Miscellaneous Series Secret Wars - 2003

The Secret Wars boxed set is actually one of the tougher boxed sets to find. I've seen this one go on eBay for around $100 or so. The set itself mostly features straight re-releases, with a few that have new paint jobs. The Spider-Man figure would be the one that many wanted because it is a version that had not been produced until now.

Captain America (rerelease)

Captain America would be another straight re-release. This figure is originally from the Spider-Man line. He still has his sparking shield as well.

Dr. Doom (rerelease)

This is a re-release of the Marvel Universe Dr. Doom, which featured a darker green cape and hood.

Hulk

This Hulk is the same as the Smash and Crash series Hulk figure, but with a darker purple on the pants. The top of his pants is also painted purple, where as it is white on the original, which was what was left of his shirt. The Hulk figure they used was a little small compared to some of the other figures in the set, but it is still a good figure.

Iron Man (rerelease)

This Iron Man is a straight re-release of the Hologram Armor Iron Man from the Iron Man series.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: None

Magneto (rerelease)

Magneto is another straight re-release of an older figure. This figure is from way back in the early X-Men series.

Figure ability: Sparking action

Spider-Man

The Spider-Man figure would actually be the figure that most people wanted in this set. The figure is a version of him that is half-transformed into his black suit, which he did get during the Secret Wars. The figure itself is a repaint of another Spider-Man figure.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: None

Spider-Woman (rerelease)

This is a re-release of the darker black version of Spider-Woman.
