Incredible Hulk Classics Series 2 - 2004

The second series of Hulk classics would see some more Hulk variants and another villain. This series would be a little tougher to find, as many would not get sent out. Absorbing man would be especially tough to find seeing as how he was not packed well in a series that did not get a lot sent out. Still another good lineup of figures. This would also be the last series of Hulk figures, due to poor sales and the fact that a lot of the movie figures were still on the pegs.

Absorbing Man

Like Abomination, Absorbing Man would be the villain of the series, and also very hard to find due to poor distribution. The figure itself is very well done with interchangeable arms to show him absorbing different things. He even comes with a large Hulk arm. Many collectors wanted to see him in his classic prison stripes, rather than the bright orange pants.

Bruce Banner

Iím not sure why they made Bruce so much smaller, as he is smaller than any of the other figures in this line and the Marvel Legends line, even the people that are supposed to be about as tall as Bruce are much taller than he is. Regardless, this is a pretty well done figure with a decent amount of articulation and detail.

Gargoyle

Gargoyle got another figure by being an accessory again. This version is actually very small and somewhat articulated as well, which is a nice touch.

Hulk

This Hulk is a lot like the Savage Hulk, except he looks to be a little angrier. The detail and articulation are what we have come to expect from the line. This version of Hulk comes with a little Bruce Banner figure that he can throw around.

Mecha-Hulk

The Mecha Hulk is kind of a Hulk variant. I'm not sure if he ever showed up in the comics, but it is a pretty neat figure. This Hulk is as big as or bigger than the others and is very well detailed and articulated. The back can open up for a small Gargoyle figure to ride in as well.

War Hulk

This Hulk is Hulk as he appeared when Apocalypse turned him into his horseman of war around Hulk #457. The figure is very large and comes with a nice assortment of accessories like the War mask, shoulder pads and a giant sword. All the accessories can be removed too. The way the hair is sculpted on kind of makes him look like Hitler.

Accessories: Tendril, Armor, Gauntlet, Mask, Sword
