Juggernaut

One of the X-Men's oldest villains, he would only see a handful of figures throughout the series. I always thought he should have gotten more figures than he did. He never changed costumes in the comics, so most all his figures looked about the same. He should have gotten a 6' figure since he was bigger than most everyone.

Juggernaut

X-Men Series 1 - 1991

This Juggernaut figure is too small in my opinion to make him look right. The figure has wheels on the bottom of his feet which allowed him to roll forward to ram things but it made his feet very big. The large feet made him easy to stand however. The punching action worked very well and worked by moving the lever on his back which would get both arms to swing back and forth. The ramming feature and the punching feature severely limited his articulation though.

Figure ability: Punching ability, wheels on feet allowed him to ram things
Accessories: Battering Ram

X-Men Repaints - 1993

The only thing that was changed is that the orange was repainted to a darker reddish color.

X-Men Steel Mutants Series 1 - 1994

Juggernaut is a shrunk down version of his X-Men series 1 figure. He comes packaged with Cyclops.

X-Men Light -Up Classics - 1996

This Juggernaut looked much more like Juggernaut than the first series one did. The removable helmet was a very nice touch. I think the legs are a bit too short compared to his arms, but it is still a great figure. I would have liked to see a 6 inch version of him.

Figure ability: Light up hammer
Accessories: Hammer, Helmet

Juggernaut Repaint

X-Men Light -Up Classics - 1996

The colors were changed to more of a gold and black coloring. His hammer is colored yellow instead of the normal red (it still lights up red). Also, he had blue eyes instead of black ones in this version. The costume version does look sort of like a black and gold version of his costume he wore when he was briefly an X-Man, though that was years after this repaint was done.

Figure ability: Light up hammer
Accessories: Hammer, Helmet

Video Game Series X-Men vs. Street Fighter Series 2 - 1999

This is the Juggernaut figure I had been waiting for. The body and arms are from the Light up Juggernaut, but this one comes with a new head and new legs that are bigger and look a little more proportional to his large arms. The helmet is non-removable this time, but looks better in my opinion. Now only if I could get a 6 inch version of this figure. He comes packaged with a Chun Li figure.

Figure ability: uppercut action
Accessories: None

Video Game Series X-Men vs. Street Fighter Series 2 - 1999

This is the same as the other Juggernaut that came packaged with Chun Li in series 2, but painted a bit darker. These colors were his 2nd player colors in the video game. This time he comes with a Dhalsim figure.

Figure ability: Uppercut punch
Accessories: None

X-Men Evolution Series 3 - 2002

The Juggernaut was one of the better figures in this line. The figure is huge, just like he was in the series. He features a removable helmet as well and smashing action.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: Trash can, Helmet

Marvel Legends Series 6 - 2004

The Juggernaut was one of the more anticipated figures in the series 6 lineup. The figure itself is actually a remolded Savage Hulk figure with a lot of retooling done to him. The final product is very good looking and since it was a Hulk figure to start is in proportion to most of the other figures in this line. Juggernaut also features a removable helmet and a smashed up Xavier's Institute gate.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: Front gate base, Helmet
