Galactus

Silver Surfer Alien Fighters - 1998

Galactus gets a smaller version of a figure in this line, even though he was usually much bigger than everyone else in the comics. He is a great choice for a figure, esp. in this line as he created the Silver Surfer and many other characters in both the Silver Surfer toyline and the Fantastic Four toyline. He even comes with a tiny Silver Surfer in a sphere that he can hold in his hands. The figure is very well articulated and very detailed.

Figure ability: Little Silver Surfer
Accessories: Little Silver Surfer in a ball

Marvel Legends Galactus Series (Series 9) - 2005

This is the figure you can get when you snap together all the parts that came with all the figures in this line. Galactus is very well articulated and detailed, and you can’t really tell that he was a snap together figure. The only complaint I had with this figure, is his skirt thing doesn’t allow his legs to move all that much, which limits his articulation. His arms, torso, legs, and head though move in a variety of ways, just like any other Marvel Legend figure. He really adds to this line as a bonus to buying all the figures.

Marvel Universe Convention & Internet Exclusives - 2010

Galactus was the most highly anticipated exclusive of the 2010 San Diego Comic Con and was an immediate sellout at the event. The day after the convention (Monday morning), HasbroToyShop.com sold out of the few it put aside for online sales in just under 10 minutes. The price immediately skyrocketed on Ebay from the $59.99 price to anywhere between $100-160. Galactus comes in a 'suitcase-style' handled box with original artwork from Marvel's Joe Quesada. It is also packaged on a large blister card, making for a unique way to display it on the wall. The figure comes with a file card. The figure itself is exactly the same as the retail version released months later. However, it is NOT packaged with a Silver Surfer figure. Those purchasing the SDCC Galactus likely did so for the uniqueness of the blister card & suitcase box, the ability to get it a few months early, and to have a complete MU collection.

Ultimate Alliance Galactus

Marvel Universe Marvel Masterworks: Galactus - 2010

This variation of the Masterworks Galactus is based on his appearance in the 2006 video game Marvel Ultimate Alliance, making it one of the few video game based figures made in the Marvel lines.
