Hulk

Marvel Super Heroes Series 1 - 1990

Marvel Super Heroes Series 4 - 1991

This Hulk would be the only Hulk released until the Hulk figure line started up. He's pretty small by later standards, but at the time he was one of the bulkier figures. His arms could grab people by using a switch in the back of the figure. The figure is based off the character's classic design from the comics, which was discarded at the time in favor of the Grey Hulk.

Figure ability: Crsuhing Arm
Accessories: Pipe, Rock

Hulk

Avengers Original Boxed set - 1996

As far as Hulk figures go, this one is one of the smaller ones. This Hulk is also pretty detailed in its paint job, but the multitone green shading ends up being very heavy. Articulation-wise, this figure is very well done. The sculpt is very good too, but a bit short. This figure also fits in with the Hulk toyline pretty well.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: None

Grey Hulk (Mr. Fixit)

Incredible Hulk Series 1 - 1996

Mr. Fixit was another good figure choice. There would only be a few Grey Hulk figures made, and this was the first one. The figure is very detailed, just like all the other figures in the series. He comes in a shot up suit, which was like he was in the comics usually. He has standard articulation as well. He even comes with a hat, though there are two versions of the hat, one being a top hat, the other being a fidora. A new Mr. Fixit would be released years later in the Incredible Hulk Classics series.

Figure ability: Battle damage
Accessories: Hat, Grenade, Tommy gun, Tophat

Rampaging Hulk

Incredible Hulk Series 1 - 1996

Rampaging Hulk is one of two green Hulk figures in this first line. He is very big to say the least. His head does look a little small since his body is so big. His arms can move up and down via a lever on his back. If you pull on the lever, the arms flex forward, which is kind of a neat feature. He comes with a brick wall that he can smash down. This is one of the better Hulk figures made, as he is bigger than most other figures.

Figure ability: Rampaging action
Accessories: Brick wall

Savage Hulk

Incredible Hulk Series 1 - 1996

Savage Hulk has an interesting figure ability. He comes with a small Bruce Banner figure that can actually fit inside him to 'transform' into the Hulk. The Hulk figure is not very articulated because of this, as he can only move his arms. The body is made of a soft plastic so that Bruce can fit inside. The Hulk is very detailed though, although he does have an odd look on his face. The Hulk is bigger than most everyone else though, which also makes this a good figure.

Figure ability: Bruce Banner figure
Accessories: Bruce Banner figure

Bruce Banner

Incredible Hulk Series 1 - 1996

Bruce Banner is actually just an accessory to the Savage Hulk figure. He is actually very articulated for an accessory. He is a bit smaller than most other figures, which makes him a bit out of scale. But, he has to be small to fit inside the Hulk.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: None

Incredible Hulk

Incredible Hulk Smash and Crash - 1997

This Incredible Hulk figure is actually one of the best looking ones that was made. The only downfall is that he is to a bit smaller scale and is about as tall as most other figures. Hulk was supposed to be bigger than everyone else, so he just looks short. Still, the figure is very well done and very details. His one leg is spring loaded though, so it's not very poseable.

Figure ability: Breakout containment unit
Accessories: Breakout containment unit

Battle Damaged Hulk

Incredible Hulk Smash and Crash - 1997

This Hulk figure looked somewhat angrier than the normal Hulk figures. He is short like the other Hulk in this series and is very similar to him. He is wearing part of a ripped up shirt and blue pants though. The figure is very well done like the other Hulk. What is interesting is that the figure in the group shot is a different Hulk figure than what was released, which would later be released as 'Steel Body Trap Hulk' in the playsets line.

Figure ability: Breakaway lab
Accessories: Breakout containment unit, Arm restraints x2, Base supports x2

Smart Hulk

Incredible Hulk Transformations - 1997

Smart Hulk is one of the best Hulk figures that were made. He is bigger than most figures like Hulk should be and is very detailed. This Hulk is molded after the Hulk when he has all his personalities merged. The figure is pretty articulated as well. Since he is smarter than the normal Hulk, his clothes are not all destroyed.

Figure ability: Gamma blaster power pack
Accessories: Shoulder pads, Large gun, Projectile

Battle Hulk

Incredible Hulk Outcasts - 1997

This Hulk is a lot like the Incredible Hulk from the Smash and Crash series. The only difference is that this Hulk is more detailed and his neck has more veins in it. His face is a little stranger, but it is still a decent figure. He is to the shorter scale just like the smash and crash Hulks. His Hulk also comes with a large lizard thing that he can fight.

Figure ability: Head ramming Lizard
Accessories: Lizard
