Professor Xavier

Professor X got a few figures throughout the line. One would include his hover chair as part of the figure. He would also have several figures under different names, as he was using an alias or became someone else, as in the case of Onslaught and Talos. He was one of the X-Men who didn't get very many figures.

Professor X

X-Men Series 4 - 1993

Professor X was a good choice for a figure and they did it very well. The figure is very well done and is a good likeness but the figure does not come out of the chair, like he sometimes did in the comics after temporarily regaining the use of his legs for brief periods of time. Until this series the only way to get this figure was in the Mutant Hall of Fame 10 figure set that was out at the time. Professor X comes with two guns that are stored in the side panels of his hoverchair.

Figure ability: Secret panels in armrests of chair
Accessories: Guns x2

Astral Armor Xavier

X-Men Mutant Armor - 1996

A newer Professor X was needed to replace the smaller, older figure. Unfortunately it is not one of his more familiar looks. This figure uses the original Professor X head and the body from the Living Laser as well as the same body that was used for the series US Agent figure that was only released in Europe. The figure itself is pretty cast from a clear red plastic comes with snap on silver armor.

Figure ability: Snap on armor
Accessories: Mental bolt, Leg armor x2, Belt pieces, Chest armor pieces x2, Shield

Professor X

X-Men Space Riders - 1997

The third professor X figure and the first one where he is walking. I thought it would have been a better figure if they used the Shi'ar armor he had in X-Men #25 when he fought Magneto. In terms of the figure, the sculpt is pretty well done, especially the head.

Figure ability: Space ship piece
Accessories: Spaceship, Missle x2, Mask, Cable

Talos

X-Men Strike Team Set - 1998

Talos is actually Professor X in disguise. The figure is made from a Stryfe head and an Archangel 2 body. A nylon cape was added to the figure.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: Cape

Professor X

Marvel Legends Galactus Series (Series 9) - 2005

Professor Xavier was another nice X-Man addition to this series. The figure is a heavily modified movie figure body with new arms, legs, and head, and it's actually very articulated for a character who usually can't walk. He comes with a slightly remolded wheelchair from the X-Men movies figure. The figure is very well done in that he's not a huge figure since he really didn't do that much physical stuff in the comics. He is dressed in a suit and tie and looks very much like a normal person instead of a superhero. He comes with a Cerebro helmet too which really adds to the figure. He was originally supposed to have a chase figure with a new head a black suit and a hover chair but it got scrapped. He comes with the head of Galactus as well.

Figure ability: Articulation
Accessories: Wheelchair, Cerebro helmet
