Thanos would see a few figures in a few different lines, all of which he fit into. Like a lot of other figures, the figures he got would get bigger and more detailed as they went. The later ones also had a little bit of a crazier look on his face.

Fantastic Four Series 2 - 1995
Thanos was a great choice for a figure, as he was a big threat in the comics. The figure itself is very well done and is pretty bulky. The detail on it is also very good. The neat thing is that the figure has shiny chrome eyes, which makes him look cool. I'm not sure why he comes with the skull on a rope that X-Force's Krule came with.
Figure ability: Pulverizing gauntlet action
Silver Surfer Blasters - 1997
This Thanos is a much better version than the one that was released previously in the Fantastic Four line. He is very well articulated with ball joint arms and has a great sculpt with a fitting expression on his face. His head is not movable for some reason, but kind of looks like it should be. He comes with a large blaster that he can't carry for some reason. The one hand is pointing for some reason, which actually makes him look kind of cool. His gold shoulder pads are actually removable as well, but you've got to pull them over his head which isn't real easy. I would have liked to see him be a little taller, but it's still a great figure.
Figure ability: Cosmic infinity blaster
Accessories: Large gun, Light up projectile
Miscellaneous Series Greatest Battles - 1999
This Thanos is a straight repaint of the Silver Surfer Blasters series one. Nothing is new about this figure except he is painted in more yellow than orange like the old one was and painted to be wearing his Infinity Gauntlet. It is still a great figure though with a great amount of detail and good articulation.

Born disfigured, Thanos became obsessed with mortality at an early age. As he grew and came into the power he had inherited from his Eternal parents, his obsession became a determination to wipe out all life in the universe. For ages, he has traveled the stars, seeking ways to finally achieve his dream of a cosmos at peace, with not a single living thing to mar it. From time to time, he has very nearly achieved this goal, and been stopped only by the powerful cooperation of the most powerful beings in the universe.
