War Machine

War Machine could be counted as an Iron Man variant, since he wore Iron Man's armor. It is however a different character. These figures were a lot like Iron Man's in that they had removable armor. He could trade pieces with Iron Man as well.

Marvel Universe '96 Series 11 - 1997

Marvel Universe '96 Series 12 - 1997

Marvel Universe '96 Series 7 - 1997

War Machine could have easily been another Iron Man variant, but he's silver and gray, so therefore he is War Machine. The figure is well done just like most other Iron Man figures and features the same interchangable snap on armor pieces the other Iron Man figures have.

Figure ability: Removable armor
Accessories: Back gun, Back launcher, Shoulder armor x2, Arm armor x2, Belt x2, Boots x2, Chest armor x2

Iron Man Heavy Metal Heroes - 1994

War Machine is also a much smaller version of his larger 5 inch self. Like Iron Man, his armor is not removable and molded right onto the figure. He comes with a tiny Modok.

Miscellaneous Series Marvel's Classic Super Heroes - 2003

This new War Machine is basically the same as the first series one, but with a few slightly different armor pieces and an eye patch. The coloring on this figure is lighter silver, which I like better than the darker gray. This War Machine comes with two rocket launchers on his back that makes him look petty cool.

Figure ability: Removable armor
Accessories: Missles x2, Arm armor x2, Back launcher, Belt x2, Leg armor x2, Shoulder armor x2, Chest armor x2

War Machine

Marvel Hall of Fame Series 5 - 1997

This War Machine is different because this is the only one to feature a removable mask. Other than that, it is basically an Iron Man series 4 War Machine II with a slightly different paint job. The mask is from a Tony Stark figure and the head is from an X-Force G.W. Bridge figure.

Figure ability: Removable helmet
Accessories: None

War Machine

Video Game Series Marvel vs. Capcom - 1999

This War Machine figure is a mix of parts from pervious War Machine figures. The body is from the first War Machine figure, while a lot of the armor is from the second figure. The parts are painted more towards the colors of the first figure though. The armor is glued on however, which makes it stay on very well, but means you can't change armor pieces with other Iron Man / War Machine figures. He comes packaged with a Mega Man figure.

Figure ability: Missile firing action
Accessories: Missles x2, Backpack launcher

Marvel Legends Galactus Series (Series 9) - 2005

War Machine would be the Iron Man remold that everyone would be waiting for. His figure is very well done and features a few new things not seen on any Marvel Legend before. He comes with removable fire that can be placed in his gun, feet and hands to look as though they are firing in an action pose. He also comes with missiles that are look as though they are firing. The facemask is also removable, just like all the Iron Man figures. He also comes with the right leg of Galactus.

Figure ability: Articulation
Accessories: Figure stand, Mask, Flame burst x2, Flame burst, Firing missles, Flame burst x2, Missle turret
