Sabretooth

Sabretooth was one villain who got a bunch of figures made. Most all of them were how he looked in the comics at one time. The figures got bigger and bigger just like most of the other figures.

Sabretooth

X-Men Series 2 - 1992

Sabretooth's first figure was a bit small but was still a good likeness of his original costume. His chest panel can flip between normal costume and normal costume with claw marks to show some battle damage. Flipping the panel would make it look like he healed himself. This figure also had glow in the dark eyes and some sort of claw weapon.

Figure ability: Healing action, glow in the dark eyes
Accessories: Claw

X-Men Series 4 - 1993

Marvel Universe '96 Series 10 - 1997

X-Men Kay-Bee Series 1 - 1998

X-Men Classics (repaints) series 2 - 2000

Another remake. This Sabretooth does look really good and is very close to the comic counterpart. The only complaint I have is lack of articulation. There is no articulation in the knees or elbows which make it kind of hard for him to stand up sometimes.

Figure ability: Push legs together and mouth opens and arms go back
Accessories: None

X-Men Steel Mutants Series 1 - 1994

This Sabretooth is a smaller version of his figure in X-Men series 4. He comes with Wolverine.

Captive Sabretooth

X-Men Invasion - 1995

This is a figure of how Sabretooth looked in the comics at the time when he was kept in the X-Mansion. The Accessories he comes with are restraining devices that were used on him to keep him from attacking the X-Men. When the legs are squeezed together, the restraining devices would 'break' off the figure. This figure is a good likeness of Sabretooth, but would be used on several Wolverine repaints for some reason. The original prototype was painted with a black shirt and orange pants as Sabretooth appeared at the time, but this was changed for unknown reasons.

Figure ability: Mouth opens and arms fly up when legs are squeezed
Accessories: Muzzle, Hand restraints

X-Men Age of Apocalypse - 1996

This Sabretooth figure is an exact replica of what he looked like in the comics. He comes with a small Wild Child figure. The only drawback to this figure is his legs, which are difficult to put in any other poses other than the normal one.

Figure ability: Wild Child sidekick
Accessories: Wild Child sidekick, Chain, Ponytail

X-Men Danger Room - 1996

This is just a repaint of the Invasion series figure. Nothing new.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: Hand restraints, Muzzle

X-Men Ninja Force - 1997

This is Sabretooth how he looked when he was working for X-Factor. This is one of the better Sabretooth figures, as it is bigger than most figures, since that is how he was in the comics. This figure would also get repainted into his regular outfit, which made the figure even better. The figure comes with a removable cloth shirt and a mask that will tie around his face. He also has large claws that snap on his arms.

Figure ability: Snap on arm claws
Accessories: Arm claws x2, Mask, Shirt

X-Men Battle Blasters 2 - 1997

This is easily one of the best figures in this lineup. This Sabretooth is in his regular outfit, and is remake of the Series 4 one. The Ninja Force Sabretooth was repainted and has fur added to the back to make it a really good figure.

Figure ability: Exploding rock platform
Accessories: None

Video Game Series X-Men vs. Street Fighter Series 1 - 1999

Sabretooth is a straight repaint of the old X-Men series 4 figure. Nothing much has changed, except his mane is a slightly different color. He comes packaged with a Ken figure.

Figure ability: None
Accessories: None
