Lizard

Lizard is one more of many Spider-man villains who got a few figures. The figures improved alot each time a new one was produced. The figures would all use a different type of lab coat, being plastic, sculpted, and a cloth coat.

Lizard

Spider-Man Series 2 - 1994

Lizard's first figure was not the best one made of him. Still, it would be a few years before they made a new Lizard figure. The figure comes with a plastic lab coat similar to the first Gambit figure. The head on the figure is not a very good likeness, as it is not quite as scary as he was usually drawn in the comics. The rest of the body is well done with a good amount of articulation.

Lizard

Spider-Man Web Force - 1997

A new Lizard was a huge improvement over the old figure. This one is done in the same style as the comic book had when Todd McFarlene was drawing it. The lab coat is molded plastic and really can't be moved, which is the only drawback. The figure has very long legs and long arms and is very skinny. This figure is a bit larger, much like Web Swamp Spider-Man, and better fits in the 6 inch scale. The figure would be repainted years later.

Figure ability: Swamp roller
Accessories: Drill, Armor, Steam roller

Lizard

Spider-Man Monster Mayhem - 1998

This is basically the same as the old Series 2 Lizard except he comes with a cloth coat instead of a plastic coat. He also has the head and tail of the Web Force Lizard figure. Despite the Web Force figure being newer and to a slightly larger scale, the head and tail actually work really well on the older figure. This is probably the best Lizard released in the 5 inch scale.

Spider-Man 6' Classics Series 1 - 2002

Spider-Man 6' Classics Series 12 - 2005

This Lizard is a straight repaint of the one that was in the Web Force series of figures. Since the figure was a little bigger than most of the 5.5 inch figures, he fit in pretty well with the newer, larger figures being produced. He is not as detailed or articulated though. Still a decent figure.

Accessories: Trashcan lid, Trashcan

Ultimate Lizard

Spider-Man 6' Classics Series 10 - 2004

This Lizard has more of his Ultimate look to him and is very well done. The level of detail and articulation makes him a welcome addition to the series. The Lizard also happened to look like this in early issues of Spider-Man, so it also makes a nice classic version of the figure as well.
