Venom

Venom would be the character who would get the most figures in the series besides Spider-man. Some of the later figures got a little more deformed, but he was that way in the comics. He would even have his own series of figures.

Venom

Marvel Super Heroes Series 2 - 1990

Marvel Super Heroes Series 4 - 1991

This Venom was a bit bulky and his legs didn't look like they fit right. Venom would get a new figure again in the next series.

Marvel Super Heroes Series 3 - 1991

Marvel Hall of Fame Series 3 - 1996

This Venom is also very well done. He is a large improvement over the first Venom and looks much taller and less bulky than the first one. Venom also features a lever on his back that flicks his tongue out of his mouth which is a neat feature. The figure itself is far less deformed than most Venom figures and seems to be modeled after his early appearances in the comics where he resemembled a bulky black costume Spidey with a mouth.

Figure ability: Flicking tounge
Accessories: Symbiote Chest plate

Spider-Man Maximum Carnage - 1994

Spider-Man Series 1 - 1994

The first Venom figure of the Spider-man series is a decent figure with a good sculpt. He is not as deformed as some later Venom figures would be. The top of his head will move up and down when his legs are squeezed together to look like he is 'chomping'.

Figure ability: Chomping jaws

Venom

Spider-Man Series 4 - 1995

The second Venom figure would be a lot bigger than the previous version and would also have a removable mask to switch between Venom and Eddie Brock. This is a very good figure with a lot of detail put into him. The body of this figure would be reused again for Venom figures.

Figure ability: Symbiotic Venom mask
Accessories: Venom head, Pin, Chest plate

Stealth Venom

Spider-Man Series 7 - 1996

This is just a Series 4 Venom II with the Venom head from the Chameleon figure. Oddly, the head doesn't fit super well and there is a slight gap between the head and the body despite the fact the head was apparently originally meant for the original body in Series 4. Two versions exist of this figure - this semi clear one and a completely clear one.

Figure ability: Sneak attack symbiote
Accessories: Claws x2, Tendril

This is the same figure as the normal release only clear.

Figure ability: Sneak attack symbiote
Accessories: Claws x2, Tendril

Venom Planet of The Symbiotes - 1996

The second variant, and perhaps rarest figure in the whole line is a translucent yellow version with painted red eyes much like the Swarm figure from the Spider-Man Spider Force line.

Venom

Venom Planet of The Symbiotes - 1996

This Venom remains one of the largest figures of the character ever produced, standing over 8 inches tall. The figure itself features standard articulation for the time, and several retracting symbiote heads. It easily fits in the 6 inch scale as well as it does the 5 inch scale. There are actually three versions of Venom instead of two like most everyone else in the line. The standard is his traditional black/white color scheme.
